William R. Ames
wrames@cbsasi.com
It is my job to assist you in all of your payroll needs. When you call CBS Payroll Service, Inc at 508-752-1117, I try to answer your call by the second ring. I am always available to help you with all of your payroll needs. If you are a company looking for a payroll service, I will direct your call to one of our salesman to introduce you to our company and our services. For our current clients, it is always my pleasure to receive your current payroll information. I take the payroll and process it so that it can be sent to you in a very timely fashion using the type of delivery service that you have requested from us. But my job does not stop there. Each month I check that all of your payroll taxes have been sent to the proper agency; each quarter I mail out the report both to you and the Government agencies, and in early January, work with Heidi to ship out the W2s to you so you can deliver them to your employees before the January 31st deadline. You are important to me and I am always glad to be of service to you. I have a very diverse background. I have worked in a Credit Union for six and one-half years and I have over a million miles driving tractor-trailers. I am also an amateur genealogist. For my educational background, I graduated from Quinsigamond Community College with Highest Honors and then from Worcester State College (now University) Cum Laude with a BSBA in accounting and finance. I also have a Certificate in Paralegal Studies. I have been happily working at CBS Payroll Service, Inc since 2007.
Monika Walia
mwalia@cbsasi.com
Monika came on board with Accounting Solutions in 2010. Monika received her Master’s degree in English Literature and Bachelors in Education at the Punjab University in India. After a rough debate Monika decided to retire from teaching in 2009 so she could help her husband, Jay Walia organize the work flow during the company’s very busy tax season. Monika is responsible for hiring, training, and overseeing all aspects of front desk operations. Her diverse set of skills of cultural affinity, empathy, complete accessibility, strong communication, positive attitude, warm demeanor, unwavering self-confidence, keen emotional intelligence and steadfast composure are a great asset in the smooth running of the business and resolving conflicts. She has been an integral part in transforming the policies and procedures of handling all the paperwork in the front end to make the business run more smoothly and efficiently. Monika has transitioned these policies to the bookkeeping side as well and has streamlined the workflow tremendously. In 2015, Monika successfully completed a tax course, so she would have more knowledge helping our tax professionals answer client questions if they were busy. She also uses this knowledge to have a better understanding of the tax paperwork so if clients have questions she can easily answer them.
On a personal level, Monika enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, reading and traveling. Monika and Jay have two adult children who are their pride and joy. Their daughter has her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and is currently working in the field as a Trauma councilor. Their son is attending MCPH working on his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at the same time in Chemistry. He plans to go on to medical school.

Let Us Help:
Dear Friend,
I have a feeling I know why you’re reading this right now.
You need more time in your day. Running a business is extremely demanding, and there just isn’t enough time in the day to keep all the plates from spinning out of control. And what you need most right now is more proactive help with your business finances and tax strategy. As soon as possible. In fact, yesterday would have been ideal. Am I close?
We get it. We’ve worked with plenty of businesses who have to cobble together 9 different software programs to keep everything straight, or who just wash their hands of it all and put everything on the credit card … and then try to clean up every year after the fact. And they know that this is no way to properly monitor profit margins, cash controls, account management, tax strategy and all of the myriad components of an effective financial system for a business.
Perhaps this is your story too. Or perhaps you’ve reached a stage of development in your business that you want to pass the baton of accounting to another expert team so your expert team can focus on what they do best: making sales and taking care of customers.
Or are you just starting your business and want to start things off on the right foot?
Whatever the reason, we want you to know that our team has been diligently and effectively taking care of the accounting needs of countless organizations in a wide variety of industries—discreetly and expertly handling the ongoing financial management of tax burdens, payroll, bookkeeping, and other comprehensive accounting services while providing expertise in business planning, coaching, and strategic consulting that many businesses need.
Because here’s a certain truth as it relates to taxes and your business: the State and Federal Government would love to have more of your business’ hard-earned money in their accounts. And yes, even though it’s painful, none of us begrudge paying our legal and fair share of taxes. But the problem is that regular business owners, like you, are missing out on legal and safe deductions, to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars in unclaimed refunds every year.
It doesn’t have to be this way. You don’t have to hand more dollars over to the government than they require, just because you don’t know their rules as well as they do. You don’t have to live in a constant state of anxiety over the state of your books, feeling guilty about the time you should be devoting to keeping your business profitable.
In fact, to help you find answers to your questions, I’ve compiled some resources in the last couple of years, for business people like you, in response to the specific tax and accounting questions I’ve received from my clients.
Click the button above to take your first step. And of course, feel free to poke around our site and discover why I’ve been called “The Most Trusted Tax Professional in the Worcester County Area.”
Talk again soon,
Jay Walia
